04/11/10 - Basking in the Sun
This is a pink toned dogwood blossom taken during Frog Fest at Crowder Park yesterday. I just loved how the light was coming through the petals and leaves. I took may light through leaves shots yesterday as we walked the park, but I liked this one best.
We had a good time at both Frog Fest and the Spring Fling at Johnny's preschool. The boys were very active with lots of hands-on activities and exercise mixed in with some learning. I really enjoyed the lizards and snakes, yes snakes, that they had at Frog Fest and of course taking pics.
Both times when I talked to Dad yesterday he seemed to have much clearer clarity of thought. He said they would try to help him walk for the first time today. I am trying to stay optimistic that he can rebound back to the level where he was 4-6 weeks ago before things started to get the best of him. Thanks for your well wishes and support. They mean a lot.
Thanks too for your comments on the ginkgo tree leaf shot. Yes, that tree does behave such that it drops it's leaves in about a day each fall. Easy clean-up around that tree. Down once, pick up once, and done.
