06/23/10 - Summer Snowflake
This is a shot of Queen Anne's Lace that I took last Friday. I like how the flower looks as if it's a snowflake. I also took the frame shot the same day a few shots later in the series. It was a mistake like many of my other background style shots, but I really thought the greens matched up very nicely with the main shot.
I spent some time last night pulling out all the 'good' Queen Anne's Lace shots that I have taken over the last 3 years and putting them in a new gallery. 26 pics total. If you are interested, that gallery is here:
My bluebird box at work has 4 healthy babies and 2 very caring parents working to feed them, and I actually have babies (5 eggs) hatching in a box in my yard right now. That's a first! Really hoping they can pull through these heat index days near 100 that we're having. It is warm in Raleigh right now!
