08/26/09 - I'm pretty sure this is a morning glory. Many of these flowers/vines are growing wild on the edge of the soy bean field on the gravel road leading up to the swamp area that I often take pictures at. There are a few purple and pink colored flowers too, but most are this blue color. I tried 3 different times to get a really good picture of these flowers. Like I said the other day, for some reason, they are hard. I think the super deep center and irridescent powderlike finish on the flowers is the cause. Anyway, this one seemed kindof neat, so I though I'd share it. The leaf/vine texture in this one was kindof off the charts, so I did a little soft focus around the outer edges. Afterall, we want the flower to stand out and not the vines, right?!? The original is here:
