07/15/10 - Artsy Lily of the Nile
I took a perfectly wonderful shot of cherry tomatoes yesterday, but when it came time to make the final pick this AM, this shot won out.
This is the Lily of the Nile shot I took Saturday with bad focus that I was really bummed about. I spent 90 minutes creating about 10, some quite different, pp variations of the shot. Very hard for me to pick a favorite from the group. This one probably won due to the colors...pastel vs. rich dark blue and greens in some of the others.
I am sure I used the inverted filter and the glowing edges filter and several layers some overlay and reduced opacity and stuff like that to get this effect.
Tomato shot followed by some of the other variations for this shot:
Thank you all so much for your response to yesterday's Lily of the Nile shot. Your comments are a positive force in helping me push myself to do even better. I really appreciate your time and support.
