05/07/11 - Tranquility after the Storm
This spot is about a half a mile from the daisies and is on the path to/from school. For 6 miles, there sure are a lot of photo ops on the school route! At one time there were probably cows in this field, but for a long time now, it's been empty. This is an HDR shot (duh I know), and I realize it's a bit surreal and over saturated, but somehow I like it because of that. There is an sunny version here:
In that list of thumbs, there are also grainy versions of both.
Shot with the Wide angle mode on my S3. I wish there was a bit more real estate on the right. After PhotoMatix, I fooled with the color in PSE Color Variations and then back in Picasa some on the brightness.
This is the original properly exposed shot in the bracketed series:
Which do you want to look at original or HDR?
I took a bunch of daisy shots yesterday, but none stuck out at me to share today.
My favorite picture of the day is Johnny and Madi puddle jumping:
Technically, it has problems. But for a mom's heart on Mother's Day weekend, a winner.
Thanks for your comment on the daisy shot from yesterday...
